My Favorite Things -Jillicious Charms

I hope to make this a weekly experience where I post some of my favorite things. Jillicious Charms is listed under the tab of My Favorite Things on this blog and I hope to add it to my website. I happened to see an add for this jewelry on my Facebook Page and immediately fell in love with the design and fun of these creations.

Jillicious Charms has been in business since October 2011. The name is inspired by the artist’s daughters. She fell in love with polymer clay crafting and it became her passion allowing her to be a stay at home mom. You can read more about the business and this talented designer at her website http://www.jilliciouscharms.com/

Because I am in love with coffee, this is what I ordered from her site and I hope to own more of her jewelry in the future.

The title makes some reference to what’s in the chapter so I can keep track of the action. And I just like the challenge and fun of finding songs to fit the story; it amuses me.

Below are the chapter titles to my upcoming cozy. “The Quirky Quiz Show Caper.” See if you know the artist who recorded the song.

1. Monday, Monday

2. I Want To Know

3. We Just Disagree

4. Carry On Wayward Son

5. Be True to Your School

6. Stiletto

7. (It’s a) Family Affair

8. If You’ve Got Trouble

9. Call Me

10. Games People Play

11. Xanadu

12. Listen…

I’m a Writer, Not a Terrorist!

It’s time to share some of my friend’s blog posts today. After all, sharing is caring and that’s what Sprinkled Notes likes to do.

The Cozy Cat Chronicles

I wonder what my online browsing history signifies to the government agencies that collect copious amounts of personal data on us. The truth is that a writer of mysteries and crime novels needs to do her research if she wants her work to appear credible. For my Angelina Bonaparte private investigator series, I’ve Googled “guns suitable for women,” “reverse peephole viewers” (scary, isn’t it, that someone can use your peephole to see inside?), “U.S. military special forces,” “Interpol art theft,” “Bosnian War,” “offshore banking,” and other assorted topics that seem rather … well, nefarious.

But I also frequently search for clothing and related topics, because Angie is, unlike her creator…
