About Author Julie Seedorf

As human beings, we are always a work in progress. From birth to death we live, hurt, laugh, cry, feel, and with all of those emotions we grow as people, as family members, and as friends. I'm a dreamer and feel blessed to have the opportunity in my writing to pass those dreams on to others. I believe you are never too old to dream and to turn those dreams into a creative endeavor.” I live in rural Minnesota and am a wife, mother, and grandmother. Throughout my life I have had many careers or should I say opportunities at jobs where I have learned different skills such as working as a waitress, nursing home activities person, office manager, and finally a computer repair person eventually owning her own computer sales and repair business. Add my volunteer activities such as Sunday School Teacher and SADD advisor and more and it's been a full life. I never forgot my love of writing and quit my computer business in 2012 after signing a contract with Cozy Cat Press for Granny Hooks A Crook, the first book in my Fuchsia, Minnesota Series. I currentlyntly have written nine cozy mysteries, three children’s books, participated in three group anthologies or mysteries, and write three blogs about various subjects.

I’m Questioning You!

questioningIt’s time to have a little fun. I haven’t given anything away lately. So lets play with a question. I ask a question today and you all can have fun answering. In the morning I will pick a random or a few random winners. I have 5 audiobooks of Granny Hooks A Crook to giveaway and I will also give away one Granny Forks a Fugitive choice of paperback or e-book. If you don’t do audiobooks and you want to gift it to someone in your life that is allowed. So have some fun with this question. And make sure to ask others to come on over and join the fun.

For what in your life do you feel most grateful?

Granny’s Out and About and She’s Giving You A Shout!

Granny_AIt’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I just felt like saying that. I loved Sesame Street as a kid and still do as an adult. Today’s sunshine after a few day’s of rain makes me Sesame Street giddy. I have been neglecting my blog lately because I have been out having fun. I will be posting some fun things in the next few weeks. But I am back and it’s time to get to work.

I started my new series. I think is going to be called the Brilliant Minnesota Series. Don’t panic, for those of you that are Fuchsia Minnesota Series and Granny fans, that series will continue also. There will be a connection also between Brilliant and Fuchsia.

The past couple of weeks Granny Skewers A Scoundrel was made into an audiobook that I hope will be released soon. Granny Hooks A Crook is already out in audiobook and can be found on  Amazon and Audible and ITunes. Granny Hooks A Crook Audiobook

This is a fun week as I have had the privilege of guesting on four blogs. Some are guest posts and others are interviews and one I was the spotlight author. I will list the links with this blog. Keep watching for upcoming posts. They won’t always be about me and maybe I will surprise you with some interesting contests. Have a beautiful day and let Granny take you away into being fun and frivolous, so be revelous. In know that’s not a word but if Granny can make up words, so can I.
