About Author Julie Seedorf

As human beings, we are always a work in progress. From birth to death we live, hurt, laugh, cry, feel, and with all of those emotions we grow as people, as family members, and as friends. I'm a dreamer and feel blessed to have the opportunity in my writing to pass those dreams on to others. I believe you are never too old to dream and to turn those dreams into a creative endeavor.” I live in rural Minnesota and am a wife, mother, and grandmother. Throughout my life I have had many careers or should I say opportunities at jobs where I have learned different skills such as working as a waitress, nursing home activities person, office manager, and finally a computer repair person eventually owning her own computer sales and repair business. Add my volunteer activities such as Sunday School Teacher and SADD advisor and more and it's been a full life. I never forgot my love of writing and quit my computer business in 2012 after signing a contract with Cozy Cat Press for Granny Hooks A Crook, the first book in my Fuchsia, Minnesota Series. I currentlyntly have written nine cozy mysteries, three children’s books, participated in three group anthologies or mysteries, and write three blogs about various subjects.

Review: Split Second

Split Second
Split Second by Catherine Coulter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Catherine Coulter is my favorite author and her FBI Series is my favorite series. As always when I pick up a Catherine Coulter book I have a hard time putting it down, and Split Second was no exception. I held my breath at many moments in this book while waiting to see what the next page held. There was a mystery within a mystery and the writer handles it so that we, the reader, are never confused as to which plot belongs to what. I don’t like to leak spoilers but I will say this, Dylan Savich and Lacey Sherwood live on to provide us more moments of suspense.

Review: Broken Hearted Ghoul

Broken Hearted Ghoul
Broken Hearted Ghoul by Joyce Lavene
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wasn’t quite sure what to think of this book when I started reading the first few pages. But the first few pages intrigued me so much that I had to keep reading. I usually do not read paranormal mysteries. I have to say I loved this book and it’s characters. By the end of the book I kept saying to myself, why not? I became a fan. Maybe we have this secret world living with us and we don’t know it. Do I need to watch to see if there are any Ghouls? The writing drew me in, kept me reading, made me chuckle at times and made me think it is entirely possible to know people like the characters. I will read more. Love it.

It’s a beautiful day today. 7:12 a.m. and I’m into my day. Took a little walk around 6:00 a.m. The walk was peaceful and inspiring. Today I share another song that I liked from my teen years. I forgot about this song called Early In the Morning. Very fitting for it being early for me. Be sure and share your memory songs. Post them here. Countdown to my birthday this week with old memories. I want to hear from you. https://youtu.be/9hN9YRo7y1s… Now to writing my column and Fuchsia #4
