A Time for Reflection

In 2015, I published my first cozy mystery novel, Murder by the Spoonful, the not-so-real adventures of my two close friends, Anne and CC, intrepid antique hunters who stumble upon a murder. I followed that up with writing their second story, Pickin’ Murder, based on my husband and mine’s vacation to Nashville.

Review: Antiques & Avarice

Antiques & Avarice
Antiques & Avarice by Jane Firebaugh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book hooked my attention in the first paragraph. The setting, the dialogue and the characters in the first few chapters teased me enough that I wanted to read more. The book is skillfully written and has a cast of characters and setting that makes a reader feel at home and as if they possibly could step into the story. Add twists and turns, a little humor and it’s a winner in my book.

There are twists and turns and subplots and quirky characters of all ages. I will let you know more over the next few weeks.

For me, it was hard beginning a new series while continuing my Fuchsia Series. I am invested in my Fuchsia characters. I love Granny (Hermiony Vidalia Criony Fiddlestadt) and I know…
