Review: Beetles in the Boxcar

Beetles in the Boxcar
Beetles in the Boxcar by Joyce Oroz
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in two days that I have read in the Josephine Stuart Mystery Series. I chose this book because I liked the first one so much and this one didn’t disappoint. I seem to be reading them out of sequence but it doesn’t matter. Josephine’s elderly aunt comes to live with her but this aunt defies the word elderly and keeps Josephine hopping trying to keep both of them out of trouble. They both share a nose for snooping out trouble. Every time I thought I had things figured out I was lead in another direction. Josephine and her crew are mural painters and she never hesitates to get her crew and family involved in her capers. I suspect her mother used to be Josephine when she was younger. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series. Beetles in the Boxcar is well written and will take you on a journey of tracks and whistles. Enjoy.
